I have to echo the other two reviews so far. This calendar is not the one depicted in the description showing the original Broadway cast. And I checked to be sure. This is why I bought it. Had I known it was another group of actors I would not have bought this calendar. No offense to the cast who appears on this calendar but I wanted the actors/characters I am familiar with.I looked forward to it arriving because I love every one of the OBC. It was extremely disappointing & if it were not for the trouble & expense I would return it which I've never done unless the item is damaged or defective. So just be aware if this is something that matters to you it's not the calendar you will get.

Let me get things clear I have nothing against the Chicago cast but what kind of pissed me off is the false advertisement saying it will come with the original Broadway cast.

I thought I was getting the original broadway cast as shown on the images but I got a calendar with the cast of the Chicago production. Disappointed!

My 10 yo daughter was super disappointed that the photos in the 2018 calendar were not the ones depicted on Amazon. Her older sister is fine with it, so we will keep it, but I had one super sad 10 year old.

I preordered this and was super excited for my daughter to open it for Christmas, however it is missing half of the months ☹️ Hopefully I can get it replaced. It came in a timely manner and packaging was great and it’s overall what i wanted except that we are missing half of the calendar.

NOT THE ORIGINAL CAST. Product description has since changed as it clearly said Broadway Cast---whose faces and voices I know. While this group of actors is probably equally talented in most cases, they dont resonate with me and I am sending htis junk back

My daughter loves all things Hamilton. Good thing too b/c this calendar is useless in 5 days. I have since ordered the correct one, My fault as I didn't read it properly. Just cannot understand why it was sold for so much at this time of the year. I would have returned it to get my $ back, but she already opened it. If it had been for 2019 it would have gotten 5 stars!

Not happy. Picture showed original cast, but item received did not. Was not what I ordered.

I wish the author had let Damen's story end with his disappearance at the end of Tabitha's Folly. This follow up was a total disappointment and contributed nothing to the Somerstone series. The story was very brief and not well written. Giorgia and the circumstances that brought her to Damen were totally unbelievable. She stood to gain nothing from a union with Damen so why would she bother. It certainly wasn't for love as the author failed to show even fondness existing between them. Nor was there any respect or admiration. A complete folly in my opinion. Her character was just as despicable as Damen's. Whereas Damen was a criminal who should have paid for his crime, Giorgia was dishonest and deceptive. They deserve each other and hopefully they will live unhappily ever after.

Ms. Johnson and regency romance? Yes, please!If you ever read one of Ms. Johnson's books, you know they are well researched, emotionally deep, and totally swoon worthy. This book is no exception.Ms. Johnson delivers a tale of interest in a compact format. My only complaint...I wanted more!Please also note, that I read this as a standalone against the advice of the author to read Tabitha's Folly it's companion novel. That means I'll be adding it to my TBR list.

Damien is a very mixed up servant who is definitely living a life unwanted. I didn't like this as much as Tabatha's Folly because there was too much repetition

We get Damen’s Point of view but unfortunately it’s nothing we didn’t already learn in the carriage ride during the attempted kidnapping. He is still selfish. He has no remorse, no redeeming qualities and gets no punishment. I was hoping the brothers or Henry got ahold to him.

Though I could sympathize with his plight I didn't necessarily connect with Damien the villain, but I love backstories, especially of villains. I loved the twists Jen Geigle Johnson added through his side of the story. And I'm a firm believer that there's some one out there for everyone, and maybe even villains can find a happily ever after. Jen Geigle Johnson didn't write a redemption story, she wrote a romance for a villain which was new and different. And she gave him a great match in Giorgia.

Not a hero in the male lead... unscrupulous and self-serving.I didn't like the way he was being treated, but that doesn't excuse his own behavior.The story itself was not well written--well, there wasn't much to it. Only a week went by from first meeting to "I love you."I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

I've only read The Stable Master's Daughter in this series, and Damen pops up a few times in that. I always thought he was kind of creepy. Well, he's that and more: creepy, disturbed, self absorbed, unstable. He makes my skin crawl. I thought Giorgia would be good for him, but... I don't see them ever being happy.I realized more than ever that I like having a hero and heroine I can root for. This one just wasn't even close.

Damen's Secret by Jen Geigle Johnson is a fast, thrilling read. It is told mostly as a narrative, so it flows really well. I was intrigued by Damen in Tabitha's Folly, so I love knowing his story.

The author explains most things very clearly. I sometimes wish things were organized a little differently or introduced more explicitly for the sake of clarity. Also, there are some errors that can make things confusing. (Like an answer that doesn't match the question asked, or an incorrect formula here and there [The formula for carbonate on p 147 is incorrect.]) Mostly a helpful book, though, especially if used alongside actual class coursework.

Oh my goodness, if your desire is to pass your college chemistry class this book is a MUST! After leaving chemistry class I was a lost soul, I actually considered changing my major so that I didn't have to take this class. People, this book is GOLD, and you know the value of gold! I failed my fist quiz and it's because I didn't have this book yet, since then we've had 5 tests and my lowest grade is a "B" I'm extremely pleased! Thank you Mr. Curran, I certainly wasn't a fan of ANY science, but I now love chemistry, I would buy any book with your name on it, book is truly "God Sent"

Got this to aid homeschool studies in chemistry for 8th grader but it was setting on the shelf until he took a chemistry class at a local Think Tank and they were using the book.You will need to supplement content with addition resources if student doesn't easily "get" chemistry. Even if they do, they will still need supplemental resources.Clean pages (not busy and distracting). Good testing (lesson and chapter) included in the book which is why it gets a 5 from me.

Son had Chem 1 in college last year. He did well but wasn’t very confident. He was concerned he would forget stuff over the summer before taking Chem 2 this year. He worked through this book over the summer and it totally built his confidence. He now says Chem 2 is easy and he just excitedly texted me his first exam score. It was great!

This book is much like the Homework Helpers Physics -- great for beginners and in conjunction with real textbooks, but not as a standalone. Both are just too short and miss some vital topics, and don't go into enough depth on some. Very good buy, though, if used correctly or just learning the basics for the sake of learning.

This book is SUPERB on the topics it does contain. It studies mechanics, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics and heat, and nuclear/atomic physics. All of these topics are written well and explained clearly; like I said, it's very good on the topics it DOES contain. The only problem I've found with this book is that it doesn't include anything on Relativity or Quantum Mechanics. Yes, it does go in depth about light, photons, and the wave-particle duality of light. Very helpful overall in the basics, but it doesn't go into the really advanced topics. I can't tell if this was meant for College Physics or high-school physics........either way, the explanations were great and it is, really, a great book. If you're taking physics on any level, get this book.

This provides a concise and clear explanation of chemistry concepts to students (and concerned parents). I recommend it to parents at my parent-teacher conferences because kids learn at different paces and have short attention spans in class. If they don't understand it the first time in class or are confused with the background section on take-home worksheets, this book is there to help. And of course, sometimes seeing something explained in a different way is all it takes for the light bulb to go on.

I like the Homework Helpers series (have the Chemistry). Clean pages (meaning not so busy one doesn't know where to direct one's eye to understand the material) with chapter testing.If something is not understood, there is a plethora of online resources to supplement.
