I know this book is written with a particular audience of female church leaders, but really, if you are a woman in authority, or someone wanting to support women in authority - this book is a must read. Sara's authentic, down to earth, writing lays out the messy, not always pretty reality of what women face in positions of leadership AND the need for us to live into our authentic feminine selves, rather than play along with the Good Ole' Boys.
I am so grateful for this amazing read. Throughout the book, I felt seen, heard and understood. I have read just about every self help book under the sun and yet, walking away with this book, I feel like I actually have concrete tools and confidence to step up into who I am supposed to be. This should be required reading not just for women in the ministry-- but ALL women. Thank you Sara Shisler Goff for your truth and this beautiful story.
