I have been selling this book and others in the Family of Ree series out of my art gallery for many years. They have been favorites with my customers. In fact, I have even had kids who grew up on these books who are now buying them for their own children. These are also a favorite amongst educators and teachers. The teachers have told me that the kids really respond to the rhyming and bright colorful illustrations. And the common sense values have been a big hit with the parents.The Legend of Snow Pookas is a really fun story whether you are reading to your kids or they are reading it for themselves.
I bought this book at an Art Fair for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. She wants me to buy all of the others in the series. She was intrigued by all of the characters and read all 8 chapters in one sitting. This book was imaginative and creative and I can completely see these characters being turned into a children's movie.
