This book is beautifully illustrated. My kids look forward to the next month so we can read the next poem. The book includes days of the week, as well as each month having a poem. This version is small and fits nicely on a nature table.
It's broken down by months and has a poem for each month. Very great artwork and rhymes about days of the week and time.
My first experience with illustrator and author Elsa Beskow and I'm obsessed! Her illustrations of children are absolutely beautiful! I bought this for my best friend who is Swedish and I'll be a collector now. The quality is lovely also!
I adore the illustrations and the size of the book is perfect for tiny hands. My kids love staring at the details pictures and talking about the months of the year. sweet book I am sure I will want to hold onto for my children's children some day.
